History
Stevenage Indoor Market opened in December 1973 following the closure of the Stevenage Forum outdoor market. Back then, markets were community hubs and the best way to shop for many people. Due to Stevenage’s rich history and spirit, the Indoor Market has prevailed where others have not been able to. This resilience is proven through a few traders being there since 1973!
Stevenage Indoor Market, which has been trading for over 40 years, offers a lively, alternative and traditional place to shop.
Stevenage Indoor Market is proud to offer a reliable service to their customers that is second to none and our traders are committed to always trade in a fair, pleasant and reasonable manner. However, in unlikely event that you are dissatisfied please contact indoor.market@stevenage.gov.uk for a copy of the shoppers’ charter along with any additional information that may be relevant.
